- The longest total eclipse was on 26 April 1892 lasting 4 minutes 19
seconds.
- This Saros is composed of 71 eclipses of which 15 are partial, 23 are
annular, 28 are total and 5 are hybrid.
- Saros 117 is in its final stages and now only producing partial
eclipses. Eclipse 71 is the last eclipse of the Saros.
